YooniK announced that it is part of the Responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) consortium, led by Unbabel, in partnership with companies and institutions that work to develop cutting-edge technology products based on AI.
The Center for Responsible AI is the largest consortium dedicated to responsible AI, with an investment of 78 million euros, bringing together eleven startups, including two unicorns, eight research centers, a law firm, and five industry leaders in Life Sciences, Tourism, and Retail. Partners will work together to develop fair, explainable AI that minimizes prejudice and negative impacts of biased technology. This combined effort is expected to result in 21 new responsible AI products.
YooniK's mission is to make facial biometrics a secure and accessible way to authenticate users, respecting the privacy of their data and reducing the likelihood of misuse or harmful use of biometric data. Being part of this consortium is, for YooniK, a key milestone for realizing this vision.
